FLJ INSIDER · JOBS · 15 SEPTEMBER 2026

Hi, it’s Anuj.

As promised, here are this week’s latest opportunities in Fashion Law.

As you already know, every week I go through fashion and beauty career portals myself, one company at a time. I do it because so many people still believe fashion law is too niche, that there is nothing really out there to apply for. And because the people who subscribed to Fashion Law Journal did it on trust. You stayed, you kept opening these emails, so putting a properly checked list in front of you is the bare minimum I can do in return.

When I was a law student, nobody did this for me. Now that I am in a position to do it for you, I will keep doing it.

This week: 71 legal, IP, brand protection, privacy and compliance roles across 44 fashion and beauty employers in 19 countries, including 16 internships and early-career places.

Three things I noticed while putting this together. Privacy is now the busiest hiring line after general commercial counsel, and those twelve roles sit inside brands, not law firms. Brand protection is hiring senior rather than junior, which tells you where the enforcement budgets have moved. And the January 2027 internship season in Paris and Geneva has opened early this year, so if you are a student, the good ones will be gone by November.

One ask before you scroll. If something here works out for you, reply and tell me. I read every reply, and those messages are the reason I keep doing this every week. You can also find me on Instagram and LinkedIn, where I write about building in fashion law, legal tech and media.

How this board works

Every listing here was located on the company’s own careers site or its own applicant tracking instance, then opened and confirmed live before publication. Roles that had been filled or withdrawn were dropped rather than listed, and several were dropped this week for exactly that reason. Aggregator listings were not used. Some roles may still be filled or taken down between this email landing and you clicking, and a few employers publish a stated deadline and then leave the role open anyway. We remove anything closed in the next weekly update. If you find a dead link, just reply to this email and tell me.

Before you go

This board goes to FLJ Insider subscribers only. If it was useful, the most helpful thing you can do is forward it to one person who is trying to get into fashion law.

Come say hello. I am on Instagram and LinkedIn, where I write about building Fashion Law Journal and Legal Desire in public, what I am learning about legal tech, and the career questions that land in my inbox. Send me a connection request and tell me you came from this newsletter, I always reply.

Fashion Law Journal itself is on Instagram and LinkedIn, where we post the openings that come in between issues.

Next week: a fresh batch, plus a breakdown of what this privacy hiring wave actually wants to see on your CV.
